To project the computer
The computer cart is kept in a locked closet to the left of the projection screen. The Music department faculty have a key to this room. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the Projector Input Device (below keyboard) is ON and Computer 1 is selected. For sound adjust the amplifier (below the VCR/DVD) master volume controls and the volume control labeled Computer. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer.
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.
Projecting a DVD
The computer cart is kept in a locked closet to the left of the projection screen. The Music department faculty have a key to this room. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the Projector Input Device (below keyboard) is ON and Video is selected. The VCR/DVD player is on the computer cart, and you may also need to select the DVD mode button. For sound, adjust the amplifier (below the VCR/DVD) master volume controls and the volume control labeled VCR/DVD. This VCR/DVD player will also play CDs. The computer will play DVDs & CDs.
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.
Connecting a laptop
The Laptop cables are located in the drawer labeled Laptop Cords. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the Projector Input Device (below keyboard) is ON and Computer 2 is selected. For sound, adjust the amplifier (below the VCR/DVD player) master volume controls and the volume control labeled Laptop.
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm
Lights
Besides the fluorescent lights in this room there are dimmable light controls in the desk.
