FLC Colorado Equity Scholarship
Scholarships

This scholarship is for students who self-identify as part of one or more underrepresented and underserved groups in higher education on account of race, ethnicity, indigeneity, language, sexuality, gender, ability, religion, immigration status, and/or other dimensions.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• Self-identify as a member of an underrepresented and underserved group or be a first-generation student
• Be a Colorado resident
• Be an incoming FLC first-year or transfer student starting in the fall semester
• Have a cumulative high school or college GPA of at least 2.5
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 while at FLC
• Maintain full-time status (at least 12 credits per semester) while at FLC

You'll need to answer three questions. We encourage you to prepare your responses before starting the application. Each answer should be 200 to 300 words in length.

The award committee may consider financial need and information from your application for admission when considering your application. 

The priority deadline is February 1.

2. Why did you choose the major you intend to study? If you are undecided about your major, please tell us about that instead.
3. Share a personal accomplishment of which you are proud.

High school educators and administrators can nominate eligible students for the FLC Colorado Equity Scholarship using the online nomination form.
