Middle School Week
Bring your middle schoolers to FLC Middle School Week and expose them to higher education. The Admission team plans a variety of fun activities for each school on the following dates:
- Monday, May 5*
- Tuesday, May 6*
- Wednesday, May 7*
- Thursday, May 8*
- Monday, October 6
- Tuesday, October 7
- Wednesday, October 8
- Thursday, October 9
*The May events are full for 2025, inquire about a waiting list, fall dates, or 2026 dates.
Sample schedule:
- Arrival
- Welcome message
- Three breakout sessions.
- Examples of previous stations:
- Science experiments
- Tours of residence halls
- Lab demonstrations
- Art exhibits
- Activities with professors
- Information sessions with specific programs
- Q&A with current college students
- Tours of special labs or spaces
- Group activity
- Lunch (paid by the middle school)
- Group photo
- Departure
