A finance approach to business

Professor Paul Clay explains economics to a student working at a computer

This minor puts economics into a business core, providing the foundation for students interested in finance. Students will understand how markets work on a macro and micro scale and learn managerial and game theory.

An economics minor is also a good springboard for students who want to attend graduate school for finance, gain a Ph.D. in economics, branch into affiliated areas, and get exposure to accounting, management, and finance.
