Taking care of our bodies is of the utmost importance, and yet for many of us, it’s the last thing on our minds. It’s important to you that we develop a value of fitness and health at a young age. Combine your passion for physical well-being and exercise with your dedication to the next generation in our Exercise Science K-12 Education major. You’ll learn about body mechanics and physiology while learning the teaching skills that will help you cultivate a passion for health in your students.
 
This program is designed to support you in attaining teacher licensure in Colorado. To teach physical education in K-12 public schools, you’ll combine the best of an exercise science degree with the academics required for a K-12 Teaching license.
