Inspire the future
Share your love of movement with the next generation
Taking care of our bodies is of the utmost importance, and yet for many of us, it’s the last thing on our minds. It’s important to you that we develop a value of fitness and health at a young age. Combine your passion for physical well-being and exercise with your dedication to the next generation in our Exercise Science K-12 Education major. You’ll learn about body mechanics and physiology while learning the teaching skills that will help you cultivate a passion for health in your students. This program is designed to support you in attaining teacher licensure in Colorado. To teach physical education in K-12 public schools, you’ll combine the best of an exercise science degree with the academics required for a K-12 Teaching license. Find out more about our K-12 Teaching programs on the Teacher Education Department site.
