Ute Language Fluency partnership with Southern Ute Indian Tribe In an effort to promote Ute language fluency among young people, the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and Fort Lewis College are working on a program to certify more instructors who can teach the Ute language both on the reservation and in K-12 schools.
