About Abubakar Naibi
Before joining Fort Lewis College, I was a Math Fellow at Abraham Lincoln High School with the Denver Fellows program. I graduated from M.S. Statistics program at Northern Arizona University in 2020 and also received my B.S. in Mathematics from Federal University Dutse, Nigeria in 2017.
Beginning my freshman year in college I was a tutor for various subjects, including calculus, algebra and physics. In graduate school I was employed as a graduate teaching assistant in the department of mathematics and statistics at Northern Arizona University from 2018 to 2020. During that time I taught undergraduate mathematics courses primarily for incoming freshmen. I co-taught Pre-Calculus, and Quantitative Reasoning by my self, which is catered towards Liberal Arts majors. I also taught a course in applied statistics in a more traditional lecture setting.
