About Daisy Matthews
Daisy Matthews uses the pronouns she/her/hers. She started at Fort Lewis College as a Visiting Instructor in the fall of 2014 after earning her master's degree at the University of Montana in the spring of 2014. She worked as a Visiting Instructor and Lecturer for four years until the spring of 2018. Daisy then took an opportunity to become a math teacher at Durango High School, where she worked in the math department for three years teaching sophomore and junior level mathematics, Calculus III, and SAT preparation courses. Daisy is very excited to return to the Fort this year as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and as a Lead Academic Success Coach, where she will guide and assist students in their academic pursuits at the Fort. Daisy looks forward to working with the faculty and students at Fort Lewis College again in a brand-new capacity!
