About Mike Wagner
I have worked in outdoor education since 2001 as a mountain bike and ski patrol, wilderness therapy, raft, and canoe guide, pedicab cyclist, and behavioral health counselor. I earned a master’s degree in 2016 from Prescott College. My thesis is a Delphi consensus study exploring strategies to diversify participant demographics in international adventure education. I still guide occasionally and hold a Wilderness First Responder certification. In 2020, I started with Teachers Education, and I love inspiring young educators. I’m a passionate traveler, athlete, musician, gardener, and loving husband.
