TLC for FLC 2016: Fundraiser for student scholarships and faculty research [VIDEO]

TLC for FLC is Fort Lewis College's premier fundraiser for student scholarships and faculty research. Funds are raised through ticket sales, live and silent auctions, and generous donations. Students from the arts often perform and a great time is had by all! The 2016 event, with a Roaring Twenties theme, raised about $38,000.

Students and alumni improve their business savvy through Hawk Tank competition

A fledgling yerba mate tea company earned $5,000 in this year’s inaugural Hawk Tank Business Plan Competition, hosted by the School of Business Administration and the Alumni Engagement Office. As a key part of the competition, the Durango community also had several opportunities to contribute to the event’s success, from becoming a sponsor to volunteering as a mentor.

New Faculty in Residence enriches student experiences

“I think interacting with the student population is a lot of fun,” says Assistant Professor of Political Science Michael Dichio. Good thing, because Dichio will be interacting with FLC students even more frequently as the latest Faculty in Residence.
