“The College Tour” is a new TV series from Emmy-nominated and multi-award-winning producers, telling the stories of colleges and universities across the country.

Peter R. Decker was a staunch supporter of Fort Lewis College, serving as one of the first trustees when the board became independent in 2002. Decker died on December 12, 2020 at age 86.

Associate Professor of Chemistry Bill Collins, this year’s Featured Scholar, researches the health of honeybees, which are under threat worldwide. 

This summer, the FLC Board of Trustees voted to promote six faculty to professors and 13 faculty to associate professors for the 2020-21 academic year. The faculty promoted to associate professor also received tenure.

While animal-free creamy goodness may sound odd to the uninitiated, for Adam Hamilton (Philosophy and Biochemistry, ’18), animal-free dairy alternatives are the future.
